The 50 big questions.
Wednesday, October 6, 2010, 5:45 AM

My English is deteriorating at a fast rate and I can't keep up with these changes. Oh dear. The only remedy I have in mind is to blog more often with topics based on a set of given questions - just like bff. So to kick things off, my topic for today is based on Question 50:

Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

----------

Decisions are made every hour, every day, every month and every year. We decide what we want for breakfast, when we'd like to travel, whether to take up a job offer and so on. There is no one point in life where 'decision' does not exist. What do we mean by 'decision' - A decision is the "act or process of deciding; determination, as of a question or doubt, by making a judgment."

Without a decision we'd starve to death, we'd never travel, we would not experience career developments.

Our parents make decisions for us from the day we're born up until the day they decide that we're old enough to make our own decisions. Unfortunately, my parents still make decisions for me and I am 5 months away from turning 24. Regardless of age I believe our parents will always have a 10% opinion toward the decisions we make. However; in the last few months, I have been making decisions based on my own judgement and I have not once looked back and regretted. I'm proud of the decision I made and it's brought me that step closer to being a full fledged independent young lady.

When comes petty matters like where to dine for the evening or what time to meet, I leave these decisions to family, bf and friends.

-----------

GAWD. Mental block AGAIN. I hope my English improves over the period of 50 questions an hope it goes back to the Level it once was. lulz. How embawassing for an ABC to have bad Engrish.

Ending off this post with 2 pictures to give this blog a little bit more colour.
