I came across S.C's fb status last night and it said:

"thinks it's time to burn some bridges. these so called "friendships" are pissing me off."

So I'm not the only one who dwells upon my fb friends list and waste time thinking of who to keep and who to delete forever.

if only in life, it was as simple as to "drag & drop" our friends into the trash bin like how its so easily done on fb or even on the desktop of our computers.

I constantly question myself: "who are the ones that matter?"

Friends are categorized according to their relationships with us; the hi's and byes, the work friends, uni friends, xclass mates, family friends and those friends we learn to love and treat as family.

There are those people out their who commonly brand themselves "good friends" when in fact, behind closed doors, are bitter jealous individuals who loathe to see you happy in life. Rather than listen to what you have to say, they'll speak over you and constantly rave on and on about themselves. It's sad, but situations like these happen. I have seen one person talk about their achievements and then being cut off by a rude obnoxious green eyed monster who raved on about how good at shit they were.

fuck off.

Through my life as a high school and uni student, i have seen these monsters ruin the friendship between two or more people and even, the boyfriend/girlfriend relationships of my own friends. Like most normal people, I am a strong believer of Karma. Bad things may not happen to these monsters right away, but these evil/bad things do accumulate and will surprise them in the future. Let us see whose the one laughing.

But of course I am fortunate to have friends who turn my nights into days and evolve from friends to family. I'll drink to that.
